Heliä Mailiis Viirakivi is a singer, flutist and improviser from Finland. Her artistic work combines contemporary music, free improvisation and multidisciplinary concepts. In her music can be heard Finnish folk harmonies and rhythms, gospel inspired melodies and extended techniques. 

 She has performed in Finland, Estonia, Spain, Lithuania, Riga, Sweden and Germany in venues and festivals such as PoriJazz, Sellosali, Tapiolasali, Villa Hakasalmi, Time of Music Festival, Asbestos Ars Week II, Ankru saal Tallinn, Solaris Gallerii, IberoFest Tallinn, Composter festival, Mixtur Festival Barcelona, Tur_Telpa and Kunstfabrik-Schlot. She has worked with Nuria Andorra, Sergio Castrillon, Gon Muruaga, Teemu Mustonen, Rieko Okuda, Antti Virtaranta, Antje Rösseler, Anto Pett, Anne-Liis Poll, Gediminas Stepanavicius, Alistair MacDonald, Vaim Sarv, Gunda Gottschalk, Kristjan Kannukene, Ellade Peruzzotti, Robert Fleitz, Andris Kaļiņins, Aigars Raumanis, Ramiro Zaya, Lisa Hoppe, Women Choir of Vantaa, Tallinn International Youth Orchestra, Wind Orchestra Louhi, Gloria Chamber Choir and many others. She is member of vocalgroup L'Armonia and Chamber Choir Gloria. She holds a master degree diploma from the Estonian Music and Theatre Academy, specializaion in free improvised and contemporary music.
